Marangu route can be done in five days but from our personal experience, we recommend you add a day for acclimatization to make the total number of days six. Marangu is among the routes which offer a bit of favor on treks during the rainy season. This is the only route you trek up to the peak and down through the same trail. The 6-day Marangu route trek is adequate for reasonably fit climbers. It also has more positive successful summit rates. This itinerary includes a night on arrival and after the trek.
