Today you have an opportunity to go on a spectacular Optional balloon ride across the Masai Mara. The BALLOON SAFARI adventure begins in the pre-dawn hours. The magnificent view of the park is thrilling. Towards the end of the safari, you rise to a height of 1500 feet for a panoramic view of the twisting Mara River and the savannah below. After an hour or so in the air, your safari finishes with a flourish: a champagne breakfast in the bush, cooked on the balloon’s burners. Leaving the wildlife behind us we cross again a region of traditional African farmlands to arrive at the busy border post of Isebania. We meet with queues of transport lorries that are ferrying goods into central Africa and here we must present our passports for entry into Tanzania. After all the clearance you will take your way to Musoma serenity lodge for an evening walk & bird watching around Lake Victoria before dinner and overnight at Serenity on the Lake lodge.
After an early breakfast drive to the Serengeti national park for full-day game drives. Drive through the western corridor to the heart of Serengeti national park for dinner and overnight. You will be spending your full day of game drives in the western corridor and Kirawira river watching wildebeest migration groups on their way to the northern Serengeti Lobo area ready to cross the mara river and enter the Kenyan side. Thousands of wildebeests and zebras migrate to both Kenya and Tanzania every year. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena lodge.
Note: if you travel in June to early July, you will visit the western corridor and if travelling from mid July to early October you will visit the northern Serengeti Mara river area where the crossing is happening.
Full day ‘discover the endless plain of Serengeti national park’ game drives. The day for the big cats – cheetahs, leopards, and lions. Mostly you will go out for a SUNRISE game drive at 0630am followed by b/fast at 0830am. More game drive till Lunchtime. After your lunch, you will proceed with your afternoon game drive to sunset whereby you will drive back for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena lodge.
After an early breakfast, you will go out for sunrise game drives to mid-day whereby you will break for your picnic lunch before you leave the park with game drives en route to the Ngorongoro crater rim for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena lodge.
Rise early for breakfast before you spend a half-day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari-goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you through this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water, or east prey. At 3:00 pm you will ascend to the rim and drive back to Tarangire for overnight at Osupuko lodge.
After breakfast, you will go out for day game drives in the Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth-largest and one of its most diverse. Half-day game drives in the park enjoying viewing animals in the park. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000-foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains.
Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. In the evening you’ll drive to Arusha overnight
After completing the migration procedure, you are met by our Kenyan guide followed by a 1.5hrs hrs drive to Amboseli National park with an en-route game drive. Late lunch, relax and freshen up, then set on afternoon game drive in the park. Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
Early morning to afternoon game drives, breaking for picnic lunch and thereafter you will proceed with game drives to early evening whereby we will drop you at the airport you’re your flight back home.
Transport while on Safari: We’ll provide 1 special Safari Jeep – Land cruiser 4WD with 7 comfortable window seats. The vehicles are fitted with a pop–up roof for game viewing and photographing. Also the jeep has charging outlets, mini bar and a service panel.
Others are Lightweight safari shoes or trainers, sandals, sunglasses, sun creams, insect repellent creams, a lightweight first aid kit, a day pack for your cameras, a rucksack for your safari gears and clothes. Of course, you will want to capture much of Tanzania’s wildlife, so don’t forget a camera, batteries, and film. A medium-range telephoto lens will be found useful as will a pair of binoculars. In case you’re bringing any electrical equipment, the electricity is 220v. Also, our vehicles have got a charging system for our clients to charge their cameras, etc.
