Moreover, the Serengeti has all kinds of animals including the great wildebeest migration event in the world. Wildebeests herds are constantly moving from one side of the park to the other looking for new pasture and water annually.  Furthermore, the migration of wildebeests is estimated at 3.5 to 4 million animals moving together. In these migrations groups, you will find zebras, wildebeests, topi, and other species migrating together.

Accommodations: This safari package includes overnights in lodges and tented camps of excellent quality. All accommodations in this safari package are standard to semi-luxury properties. Moreover, three meals a day will be served to the highest standard. There are also meals available for people who are vegetarians and gluten-free. (vegetarians and gluten-free dishes are offered).

Best time: Safari trip holidays in Tanzania can be done throughout the year, you really get the best experience when it is conducted during the dry season. Dry season months are June, July, August, September, October, Mid December, January, February and early to mid March. Its our rain season from late march to early May every year.

    Our driver will pick you up upon your arrival at the airport whereby you will drive to Arusha town overnight at the lodge booked for overnight.

     

  • DAY 2
    Osupuko Lodge
    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
    Arusha/Tarangire National Park

    Our driver will pick you up from your overnight hotel and drive you to Tarangire national park by Land cruiser, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth-largest and one of its most diverse. Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the park registration book. Full-day game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals in the park. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000-foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains.

    Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. Late this afternoon you’ll arrive at your amazing lodge where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your overnight.

     

     

  • DAY 3
    Farm Of Dream Lodge
    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
    Full day in Tarangire National Park

    Full-day game drives in Tarangire national park. On this day you will go out very early for sunrise game drives which start at 6 am to 8 am whereby you will break in the bush and enjoy your breakfast. Our driver will arrange a breakfast basket, you will enjoy a short walking tour “imagine walking in the African jungle” enjoy seeing elephants and other animals very close. Remember the walking will be assisted by an armed ranger all the time. Afterward, you will have more game drives into the afternoon whereby you will break for lunch, and later on, you will proceed with the game to the evening before you drive to your overnight lodge.

  • DAY 4
    Serengeti acacia camp
    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
    Karatu/Central Serengeti Park

    After breakfast, you will make your way to the Serengeti’s endless plains for early afternoon to sunset game drives in the park. You will make your way around the southern edge of the crater rim, spotting the occasional hyena, elephant, or African buffalo along the way. By late morning, you will arrive at the famed Serengeti National Park. The plains seem endless from this vantage point. Stop to enjoy your picnic lunch at Naabi Hill before meandering through the wildlife-rich central Serengeti. Later in the evening at your camp, you will be able to settle into your accommodation before joining other travelers in the dining area for some palate teasers in anticipation of a scrumptious meal this evening. Afterward, gather around the campfire before heading off to bed. Relax in your comfortable surroundings tonight as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the Serengeti plains.

  • DAY 5
    Serengeti acacia camp
    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
    Full day in Central Serengeti Park

    Have a full day discovering the Serengeti on a game drive. Today is the day for the big cats; you will spot cheetah, leopard, and lion. You will go out for a sunrise game drive at 0600am followed by breakfast at 0830am. Then head out for more game drives until lunchtime. After your lunch, you will proceed with your afternoon game drive to sunset whereby you will drive back for dinner and overnight. Overnight will be at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp.

  • DAY 6
    Marera valley lodge
    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
    Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro crater floor.

    Rise early for breakfast in the morning whereby you will drive to the Ngorongoro for a half-day exploring the crater floor.  The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari-goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhino.  To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot.

    Your journey will take you through this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water, or east prey. In the evening ascend to the rim and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • DAY 7
    Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
    Mto wa Mbu (Half day cultural tour)/Kilimanjaro Airport.

    In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to lake Manyara’s Kirurumu area and start your hike down the rift valley wall to Mto wa Mbu village. On this walking, you will enjoy an amazing view of the Maasai steppe, Monduli Mountains, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire view. On the walking, you will learn about trees, plants, birds, etc. This takes about 40 minutes.  Later on, you will join a cycling tour around Mto wa Mbu village, visit local families, Maasai villages, local banana and rice farms, etc. On this cycling tour, you will also have a great time riding down to Lake Manyara and visiting a hippo pool. On this ride, you can enjoy very close wild animals like wildebeest, zebras, flamingos, pelicans, Thompson gazelles, buffalos, etc. early in the afternoon you will break for a picnic lunch before you start your drive to Kilimanjaro airport to catch your flight back home.

    Note: For those who cannot go on cultural walking and cycling tours, they can enter lake Manyara park for game drives till lunchtime. Tanzania safari and holidays have a lot to offer!!!

Other Informations

Transport while on Safari: We’ll provide 1 special Safari Jeep which is stretched – Land cruiser 4WD.  The vehicles are fitted with a pop–up roof for game viewing and photographing, a Charging station, table, chairs, Minibar with drinks throughout the trip, etc.

Advice for the trip: Others are Lightweight safari shoes or trainers, sandals, sunglasses, sun creams, insect repellent creams, a lightweight first aid kit, a day pack for your cameras, a rucksack for your safari gears and clothes.   Of course, you will want to capture much of Tanzania’s wildlife, so don’t forget a camera, batteries, and film. A medium-range telephoto lens will be found useful as will a pair of binoculars. In case you’re bringing any electrical equipment, the electricity is 220v. Also, our vehicles have got a charging system for our clients to charge their cameras, etc.
