The Ndutu migration is among the best event you don’t have to miss on your visit to Tanzania. This package gives you the advantage to be among the few people who are going to witness the real wildebeest migration groups in the Ndutu plain. Ndutu plain is primarily the main important area for wildebeests migration. The area is where the calving season takes place from late February and March. If you choose to visit Ndutu plain starting from around late January/February and March, expect to witness so many babies, because it is within a calving season.

If your big target is to witness the wildebeest migration in Ndutu plain, then this is a suitable itinerary for you anytime from mid-December down to March before wildebeests migrations groups start to move down to the central Serengeti and the western corridor.

Apart from the Ndutu plain migration, this itinerary gives you a chance to visit Tarangire park. This is home to hundreds of elephants leaving in the baobab trees forest. furthermore, a visit to the Ngorongoro crater floor which is among the world heritage will add some amazing time to your holiday.

  • DAY 1
    Overnight Accommodations: | Mvuli Hotel |
    Mvuli hotel is a standard budget hotel on the foot of mount meru. It has clean rooms, environments and friendly staff. The lodge offer swimming pool facilities, meeting room and short walking around the hotel area. It is a nice and recommended hotel for those who are looking for mid budget accommodation.

    Our driver will pick you up on your arrival at the airport whereby you will drive to Arusha town for overnight at the hotel booked for overnight.

     

     

  • DAY 2
    Overnight Accommodations: | Eileen's Tree Inn Lodge |
    This is a small budget lodge in Karatu town few kilometers to the ngorongoro conservation entrance gate. The lodge offer standard rooms with en suite facilities, Bar, Swimming pool, Restaurant etc.

    Arusha/Tarangire National park

    Early in the morning after your breakfast, our driver will pick you up from your overnight hotel whereby you will drive to Tarangire park by Land cruiser, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth-largest and one of its most diverse. Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the park’s registration book e. Full day game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals in the park. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000-foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains.

    Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. Late this afternoon you’ll visit Maasai boma for some culture, late on you will make yours to the lodge where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your overnight.

     

  • DAY 3
    Overnight Accommodation: | Ndutu Heritage Camp |
    Ndutu heritage camp is a seasonal standard migration tented camp which moves with wildebeests migrations heard. In December to March the camp is located in Ndutu plain to make sure you get a glimpse of wildebeests migration. From early February you will get the best chance to enjoy the calving season, the plain is covered with thousands new born. This is among the camp which is located in the area which gives you big chance to enjoy wildebeests migration view from your room balcony.

    Early breakfast before you have your way to the Ndutu area for your full-day migration tour, A day drive in the plains teeming with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest. Game drives around the lake Ndutu area before you drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.  (This is a very special day for your Tanzania safaris. Migrations of wildebeests are among the best event to spot on your visit to Tanzania).

    It is a standard tented camp in the central Serengeti national park area which gives you the best chance to enjoy the rich game drives found in the central Serengeti national park. The camp is designed to suit those who loves camping in a luxury style, imagine sleeping in king size bed, en suite washroom, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, enjoying four course menu with a bottle of cold/warm wine while camping in the middle of Serengeti plain!!. The rooms are spacious and well decorated in African style and it has rooms with twin beds and double bed depending on what you request. The meals here are fabulous, staffs are excellent.

    Full-day game drives in the endless pain of Serengeti Park. This starts from sunrise to sunset game drive in the endless plain of Serengeti park. You will have a great time visiting retima hippo and the crocodile pool. You’ll continue your wildlife viewing for the rest of the day, stopping to enjoy a picnic lunch at your leisure.  Full days ‘discover Serengeti’ game drives. The day for the big cats – cheetahs, leopards, and lions. In the evening drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

    Overnight Accommodation: | Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge |
    Ngorongoro Rhino lodge is a budget lodge which located on the western side of ngorongoro crater rim overlooking Olideani mountains and Karatu town. This lodge is the only budget lodge within Ngorongoro conservation area and its an ideal accommodations for those who need to travel in a comfy style but also need to save. The lodge is close to the ngorongoro crater floor, its about 20kms drive down to the ngorongoro crater floor.In general this lodge is good, clean, nice staffs and their meals are delicious.

    Ngorongoro crater floor/Arusha Town

    Rise early for breakfast before you spend a half-day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari-goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot.

    Your journey will take you through this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water, or east prey. In the afternoon ascend to the rim and drive back to Arusha town for dinner and overnight.

    In the morning after done with the breakfast, our driver will pick you up and drop you at the airport for your flight back home.

Other Informations

Transport while on Safari: –   We’ll provide a special Safari Jeep & 1 stretched – Land cruiser 4WD.  The vehicles are fitted with a pop–up roof for game viewing and photographing.

Re: Advice for the trip

Others are Lightweight safari shoes or trainers, sandals, sunglasses, sun creams, insect repellent creams, a lightweight first aid kit, a day pack for your cameras, a rucksack for your safari gears, and clothes.   Of course, you will want to capture much of Tanzania’s wildlife, so don’t forget a camera, batteries, and film. A medium-range telephoto lens will be found useful as will a pair of binoculars. In case you’re bringing any electrical equipment, the electricity is 220v. Also, our vehicles have got a charging system for our clients to charge their cameras, etc.
