Booking Terms And Conditions

RESERVATIONS:

Bright safaris Ltd requires a 30% deposit of the total tour cost upon confirmation of the safari to safeguard the reservation and balance to be paid in 30 days prior to the arrival of the clients. Reservations will be cancelled if the final payment is not received by the due date with full loss of deposit.

CHILD POLICY:

  • Child from 0 – 3 years are free of charge.
  • Child from 4 – 7 years will pay 50% of the total tour cost.
  • Child from 8 – 14 years will pay 70% of the tour cost.
  • Child aged from 15years and above are considered as an adults.

Note: Some of the tented camps and lodges have age restrictions for children to be accepted at their lodge. Many camps and lodges will allow a child aged from 7 year old. Children’s below the mentions age here are of course allowed in some of the lodges if accompanied by parents or relatives.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY:

  • Between 70 – 45 days before your tour start date:  25% of the total deposit will be charged as cancellation fee.
  • Between 45 – 25 days before your tour start date:   50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fee.
  • Between 25 – 0 day before your tour start date:   100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fee.
  • Cancellation that involve local/international air tickets will be subjected to refund policy of particular airline.
  • Cancellations that include Gorilla trek permit in Rwanda or Uganda are non-refundable.
  • Clients will be responsible for banks charges.

There is no refund of any unused portion of your safari once commenced. Cancellation penalties on Airfare are additional and are not included in the above cancellation charges.

Note: To avoid losing the money paid to book the tour, in case of anything we recommend our clients to amend the trip until they can travel again. This is how we do!!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Tour cost are based on all known costs and rates of exchange, any significant changes beyond the control of Bright safaris will be passed on to clients.

Bright Safaris also retains the right to alter any arrangements due to local conditions. Bright Safaris Ltd also retains the right to refuse any person from participating or continuing to any tour for any reason or if that person causes or is deemed to cause hazard and/or inconvenience to other passengers.
